I

is it true Ross ?

I know of a dairy that has paid and installed for loggers on their farms. It provides early warning lights on the control box as well warning calls and text messages to both the farmer and the dairy. I doubt it will be as simple as to leave it to the driver to decide via the lights. The dairy can access this data remotely and the decision could well be made without the farmers knowledge.

Interesting! Wonder if it will be rolled out more widely by other buyers in time

Red Tractor would like it as part of FA. At the minute it's only a recommendation.

The dairy I mentioned paid for the kit and for it to be installed. Whether a farmer would willingly buy I don't know. I certainly don't know of any.

Temp logging on a packo tank, wouldn’t want to be without with robots, also handy as it logs all the button presses so when a tanker driver presses the wrong button as hasn’t read the instructions properly and he says it was the tanks fault I can show him it clearly wasn’t.

How many languages for the instructions?

The polish guys are fine, just a couple of guys from somerset who seem to struggle, got a name and shame board now for drivers who dont put the tank to wash/open the sample tap/stop the robots at all, my personal favourite is when they somehow manage to put the tank to wash during collection despite the screen making that difficult to do. They seem to pay a bit more attention when they notice their name on the board.
