Have Kubota bought Sumo?

I've heard this twice this morning now. Makes sense in terms of expansion of the Kubota range and gives them a direct drill for instance.

However, it might be just gossip. Anyone else heard the same?

I don't think it will be about size of company it will be about technology. If they have bought sumo it would be for some technology not sure on what sumo produce these days. I have been told several times they bought kverneland for the screen technology the rest was a bonus.

Shaun who was sumo1 sold out a few years ago to a couple of shareholders, 1 that had something to do with coffee and the other something to do with potatoes/crisps and the build quality took a backward step IMO, some parts on the trailed trio we bought last year just aren’t as strong as they used to be and still waiting on the new redesigned brackets to hold the coulters on the back of roller, last I heard Shaun and his wife were running a guest house
