Boss has just bought from him says he's a top bloke no small talk on the phone straight to the point not surprising as when he went up to the yard boss said the chaps phone didn't stop ringing
Someone said he sells 10 tractors a week. 500 a year. Yikes.

Boss bought one last month no issues.
Although my boss did say there is no small talk over the phone but then it’s hardly surprising the amount of tire kicking calls he must receive

No nonsense, no haggling, no phone etiquette but straight as a die and the tractor will be as good as it looks in the pictures.

I must of been on the phone less than 5 minutes, asked price of tractor, agreed to it, asked if they would consider a trade in or not, yes, sent emails and photoes nothing back, rang severel times, finance company rang them, no one ever get back.

I, like you spoke with Richard about a tractor. Also did the same as you emailed pictures of our trade in tractor to him but so far no response.
A near neighbour here bought a tractor from him last year, he was very pleased with the deal.
It was his recommendation that I made the initial call.
Richard is obviously fussy about who he deals with!!!

That's reassuring, it's not just me, Iv searched everyone else's yard but can't find the same machine anywhere else. Finance chap has rang them again today with no response so far

Try him around 10pm that's when he normally gets back to me !
Last year went to look at a JD .Was keen on it .Gets there then says someone said they'd have it .Wasted half a day !
