Where you getting the scratch cards from?

Mine came from FeedCo but through the buying group. It's not something we've put through the buying group before but I had a quick ring around and put together and order for 3000. It was a worthwhile saving.

Kiwikit sell some brands of scratch cards but they're almost suspiciously cheap. I'm going to try a few once I've put bulls in

Trialling a home made sh!t catcher for the rotary, been in a week now and really pleased, next job is to make it out of metal and fit clear plexi glass so we can still read freeze brands at cups off

Always have done since the yield went up, I guess the more they eat the more that comes out

So would 32.5liters be your peak? That’s right near where the spring herd peaks here.

Do you feed on the rotary? We will get more manure around calving time but usually less than a dozen sh1!s per milking for the rest of the year. I’m not a fan of the manure pans as you can see anything and we use paint markers on cows a lot.

33 was peak, yer feed on rotary as once they go out day and night it’s all grass, there’s no feed pad so concentrate on the rotary
