It looks like the SNP aren't even that popular in Scotland then.

I think Nicola mentioned the possibility of fielding candidates in the North of England at one time due to demand. I don't know if it was ever seriously considered.

It's often said that the best way for Scotland to get independence is to give the English a say in it.

If the UK takes back fishing rites and Scotland leaves and joins the EU what happens next? I can`t see much point in English people voting SNP unless Nicola Fish is on a strange ego trip. I can understand some English people voting for Scottish independence if offered the chance just for a bit of peace and quiet.

90% of the fishing rights are in scottish waters.
