They should average the quality over the litres supplied. But I would just double check with the link line

The only issue there (That I can see) is they havn't included an average for 19th May. 17th May 2 collections averaged into one result, 18th May one collection one result, 19th May Should have the 2 samples averaged, 20th May one collecton one result, 21st May 2 collections averaged into one result and 22nd May 1 collection 1 result.

The issue with the averaging is that the first pickup, they just take 2000 litres which is 10% of 48hr production. This is just part of a morning milking and is the test with low bf so unless the averaging is adjusted for volume it has a negative affect.
I don't really understand why they don't just multiply solids X volume for every collection and pay on that?
I'll do some investigation on Monday

5000l at bf 5 =250kgs
7500l at 5.75 = 431.25kgs
Total bf average 5.456bf

I will check mine though with 2 tanks I’m getting picked up every day and every other with 2 tankers so 4 tests one day and 2 the next

This is your test results page, where in the writing across the top of the page it says that every collection the kg’s of solids is added onto the running total that is at the top of the page.
On a different page is the milk solids amounts on a daily basis so check both pages to see if they correspond.

The results are weighted so should be taking account of volume. Please check over a few days and report back.
Also if you think it’s wrong please ring link line on Monday so any changes can be done and paid for on the 12th otherwise you will have to wait until the 12 July to get any money that you have missed.

I wouldn't normally ever even look at this page but on the NML emails I noticed some funny symbols denoting which tests I was being paid on . I assumed it was a change in Arla policy but I think it's an NML issue.
If you look at these two days they have chosen the fat sample from the 2000 litre morning pickup and ignored the rest. I'm sure it's solvable.
You are sampled every collection and them results are used for payment purposes for your fat and protein.
The weekly results which are highlighted for payment purposes are for your bactoscans and cell count readings even though you get every collection voluntarily sampled for management purposes Arla only take into account one randomly selected sample per week for payment purposes on the bactoscans and cell count.

They've picked up again now. 10 days ago the cows were being pushed a bit hard, I lost 2 litres and proteins dropped to 3.6 which is not something I like to see when serving cows. It's all back on track now, proteins are back over 3.8 and milk is back up but I've had to up the cake from 2.5 to 4.5 to achieve this. I only grew 29 last week though so really praying for rain this week.

Ok still growing at 80 ish here. But only a few days away from a big drop off. Protein s in the 3 .60 s unheard of this early in the season for us. Still doing roughly 2.2 kgs off of 4kgs in the parlour
Growing 9 here. But proteins at 4.1
