Big things at Agritechnica 2019

What do folks think the big things will be this year at Agritechnica?

Will be my 3rd visit to the show and always a great event. Have an invite to the New Holland launch (just no idea what they are launching). have a feeling we might see a few more electric tractors in the smaller ranges and hopefully an update to some of the autonomous options.

They wont!! Because then if it fails it would just be a case of byuing a refurb one for £300 of ebay or getting the shop down the market to repair it for 50 notes and you could also remove it and use it for the other 51 weeks of the year when your half a million pound shiny metal is resting in the shed!! Much to easy and of no financial interest to the manufacturer unfortunately!!!

From what ive heard on the grapevine it will be a Fendt 727 flagship and the cab frame that's just been launched onto CNH Magnums and T8s is also going on the T7HD and T7, plus Optum/ Puma ranges. Apparently new tractors being released for 2020 and beyond must conform to automotive levels of comfort in their cabs! In other words everyone must catch up to Fendt levels of ride quality PDQ.

NH had a hydrogen driven tractor I think it was in 2009 at agritechnica.
I still can’t get over some of the eastern block tractors that we’re there in 2009, everything so simple and very little to go wrong. Tractors 400hp that looked like a supe’d up JD 8400 but with CVT transmissions and ultra heavy duty everything, the bonnet’s alone must’ve been able to carry a set of front weights on them they were built so heavily.

Its one of the best things about my vaderstad rapid, why more manufacturers are not using wifi technology is beyond me

Must be getting old. The old style eastern bloc tractors impress me much more than high tech new modern machines.

There was absolute no finesse and all looked blacksmith style but I doubt they broke down! Backend made a Fendt 936 looked like a MF35

I’ve tried many times to find the tractor but failed. Rostelmash combines and SPFH look pretty decent!

Probably but I bet a hammer can fix most things

I take it you’ve noticed the big cauliflower grower down here mainly runs Belarus tractors? They don’t stop in the winter and all the workers can fix them easy enough
