Tri axle silage trailer

Id personally go for the rear axil passive steering not front and rear forced steering
Its a lot simpler and allows the trailer to enter a smaller gap but does increase the tail swing.

Don't know where you are, I take it weight isn't an issue?
An extra axle would add quite a bit to the tare weight.
in Waterford.weight not an issue.just want to carry lots and lots of grass .also I cut grain so want to carry 27 to 30 tonne of grain at harvest time.i like the Broughan but think that the supercube might be better as I'm carrying another axle I want to take as much as I can. only rear steer don't want positive steer cos you need ball and spoon and small k50 ball etc.was wondering has anyone got one and love to see how they go with it.

Have a 24ft tri Smyth here silage and grain trailer here for a number of years. A horrible bitch on the road at 50k with a 22t load tends to sway from side to side.
Did have to weld and support the chassis where the trailer hinges at the back due to cracks.
Also had to replace the two front axils leaf springs as they don't seem up to the job.
If you are buying one try find the series which had the heavy tipping 32t Rams you will know by the half length first stage of the ram.
Based in cork too great trailer to move material but you can't put any old driver up on her can be a bit of a handful at times.

If you want that volume and don’t care about tare weight why not get a HGV bulker and a dolly? Put some wide tyres on it. More manoeuvrable than any drawbar trailer and a lot cheaper.
