No sorryAny idea what cull ewes were like?
You can buy creep - the only problem being the last time I priced it it was £420/t for bulk. I’d sell the smallest and keep 32+?We are running short of grass and our soring reseeds looking poor, we have several lambs in the 25-35kg wait bracket, would they sell ok this time of year as stores? would go on fine if plenty of grass or creep in front of them, just organic so buying creep not an option.
Is there no way of pulling them out of the business and fattening them as non organic and selling them as normal lambs? You can buy creep - the only problem being the last time I priced it it was £420/t for bulk. I’d sell the smallest and keep 32+?

Get them gone this week if possible. The end of Ramadam is this coming weekend. Hoggs and ewes in demand for that. After this week they will more than likely ease off the boil a bit. ?Are ewes likely to go up any time soon, have some to go

Dry breeding hoggs a decent trade at Stirling yesterday.
How much more than killing price?
Auctioneers at 2 local markets said they thought ewes would be better start of next week than start of this week.Get them gone this week if possible. The end of Ramadam is this coming weekend. Hoggs and ewes in demand for that. After this week they will more than likely ease off the boil a bit. ?

Whats classed as organic on a farm? Is it the business name? The holding number? The address or something else? Sorry for my ignorance I have never had anything to do with it whatsoever.basically no. The muck produced will have non organic material in From the feed so would need to be given to someone conventional, that’s if their done inside, it’s also against organic standards to fatten lambs inside
Btw your produce doesn’t have to be sold organic, some things I sell conventional as it suits better financially
