Test and trace

Lol!!! There is a place not a million miles from here that could track you wherever they so wish, I dare say they could even turn your microphone on and hear what youre saying!! GCHQ are pretty good at that sort of thing.
Cant see many pikey's downloading it mind

If the intelligence services are that interested in you they will probably put your under surveillance and your phone won't even be needed. You can triangulate a mobile phone and even listen into the conversation with the right equipment. They had this technology on naval ships 20 years ago. Surface ships in the Med could listen in on conversations made using mobile phones or radios by people in Bosnia during the strife there.

How do they propose it to work with those with no mobile no internet, old ,people that not going to listen or want to say, or ,what ,where or except where they are or been ,travellers , people desperate to work and can't afford to be off?,employers that won't compensate workers if off , Wasters that "play " on it and nothing wrong with them? ,etc etc etc?
List goes on and on with possible scenarios ??

How are they going to prevent a farmer travelling during harvest? if I got stopped I would tell them my work is urgent and weather dependant, if they ignored that, I would have no hesitation in telling them to F off and arrest Cummings first.

Boris has confirmed that it is perfectly acceptable to travel, the police etc can not over rule him, we live in a democracy.

The Cumming and going law will make make the test and trace impossible to enforce.

The Cumming and going law.

Brilliant. Is that your own law? If it is, claim intellectual rights immediately.

But a whole host of Journalists and anti-boris folk must be devastated that the Durham Police are clear that Dom's trip to Barnard Castle was a minor and insignificant breach of the regulations. Emily Maitlis must be absolutely devastated - her performance on Tuesday's Newsnight was the most biassed ever. The BBC were right to sanction and replace her.

without the app to track you and know who you have been near, I can't see how it is going to work.
I am told that, at times, our local ASDA is back to normal. No one restricting how many go in, no one following the arrow system and people blocking the aisles chatting to friends that they haven't seen for a while.
How would you know who you have been near to? I know that myself and many on here wouldn't be there in the first place but there will be plenty who are.

Mr Cummings has done the country a massive favour, he should be knighted.

His actions have clarified what is acceptable and what is not and probably saved the country from financial ruin.

I’m gobsmacked anyone can defend our approach to the whole shambles. I’ve little faith in the T and T program, a friend of my son has been enlisted to trace, he’s been waiting for two weeks for the link to the online training, still not got it and can’t get an answer. But ultimately this should have been done when we went into lockdown, not when we are coming out and people are returning to work - I’m sure they will take notice of being told to self isolate Just as they go back to work! It’s a sh1te show of embarrassments.
My wife is doing it and it is a complete farce at the moment.

You will have to stop behind closed doors like everyone else
If everyone doesn’t comply what is the point ?
Enforcement may follow and detention in a quarantine centre ....

Listening to the news why on earth are the rules in Wales and Scotland going to be slightly different to England. Bizarre. Almost as though the politicians in these provinces want to cock a leg against the hedge to mark a territory. Hey ho.

Government should have declared a State of Emergency in January and overridden the devolved governments so it was one rule, one app etc etc across the board. Then they could have implemented lockdowns/easements in discrete locations instead of the clusterf**k we have now

I'm going to need to see the proof they've actually got it and are not just on a wind-up before I go into isolation. I have a client-based business and what if I end up doing one 14 day stretch, back to work for a couple of days and then I get the good news I have to do another 14 days thanks to a different client contact? Nope. Not going to happen. My low-risk business (which I'm managed perfectly well during the lockdown) will be wiped out.

I'm not downloading any tracking app either, and will swap to a non-smart phone if necessary, or just leave the damn phone at home.

To be honest I think this will be unenforceable after Cummings. More and more stories will come out concerning people who should set the proletariat a good example but who have breached lockdown, which will just put people's backs up.
We are all in this together, apart from you
