Hi Tomlad. Unfortunately not there is a piece that sits down inside the drum that is 35 cms Dia by15 cms deep I have looked at all the plastic open top kegs available but nothing meets my need.
Maybe SafetyKleen had the drums made special

Calor gas bottle carefully cut down to size would do.
I have a similar washer on my scrap heap, i will look see if there is a bucket. But im in yorkshire
Thanks guys That is certainly food for thought. (I will have to see where they have moved some caravan dwellers on from!!!!There are usually large propane cylinders left behind
I’ve got the same washer, the base was on a service contract for clean chemical every month or so, when contract ended the took drum of chemical and left the washer?! I’ve put it on a grease keg from the large air greaser, fits a treat, just had to trim a bit of the pump tube as drum was a tad shorter.
Thanks Biggles Shortening the pick up is not a problem as just the flexi pipe and the waterpipe that the cables run through. Bobthebuilder.
That is what I may well end up doing but it does have to sit in the top of the barrel as the return for the fluid if through the 35 cms diameter x 15 cms deep section.
Just looked up dimensions of a propane cylinder and they are 38 cms Diameter so definitely an option
