Harvesting Spring Beans

Because there should be no beans in pods that require rethreshing. Very occasionally there are (normally pods that only ever had 1 bean in) in which case just close the concave
In the 100 yards I did, I managed to get whole, unthrashed pods, with 3 beans in, in the trailer! 🤷‍♂️.
Obviously I have some tinkering to do

As already said.
Drum slowish, but not so slow it can stall, I usually went at about 650 I think, concave nearly wide open, fan needs to be flat out.
You should only see rubbish in the returns.
Sieves need to be pretty wide open, if not actually fully open.
Fat hen etc is the pita for getting in the sample, bugger all you can do for that except have the holey auger covers which let lots drop out.
Go as fast as you dare, don't be scared .
I was cutting at 10kmh and had 98% engine load on a cr9080 cutting mine, 30 foot header.

If you can get 10K header losses should be low.
We had these late emerged short plants that would fold under the header if you went two two fast.
I sprayed off with Spotlight as want to save Some for seed Where as Gly 360 may have worked better.
