The joystick gave up on the McCormick just before I left the farm back in may. Back up and glad to see a successful repair that’s still working.

They are meant to be joined with the spring as the tension for the drive wheels on the rotary. This is what happens when its not

Service bloke from the platform builder literally was half pìssed and could hardly speak. This rather added to my growing unimpressiveness. So had to do this in the most God awkward bàstard of a spot imaginable. Could only weld one side up as you simply can not get to the other. Gusset added to hopefully avoid a repeat

and hope like hell it holds together for this mornings milking in an hours time...Ol mate service bloke is in for a nice surprise this morning when I call in.

If your welder has a chain holding the gas cylinder on, put a couple gurt big bolts in , stop it unhitching, toppling of as you try to get the welder up a step and knocking the stem off the regulator so you have to drive to boc when you don't need gas :mad: :banghead: :cry:

Just weld the bottle to the welder

Had a really annoying noise on the new car at motorway speed like a window being slightly open. Checked and checked and today notice wing mirror shroud has been caught cause a gap for wind to go in. Soo happy it's now gone
