Ahh ok the amounts I have heard on here would be season over in this area
For us, with stubble untouched, and plough/harrow then tine drill 4 days ish about right. (And small gear too)
Neighbours subsoiled then straight over with a sumo type mixing implement to create stale seed bed about 3 weeks after combining it...........that'll take a fair bit more time  :X3:

I am an atheist and at this time of year I don't even know what day of the week it is :(
Was my lightest field and possibly should have left it till tomorrow but hopefully tomorrow it will drill as most of it was drilled Tuesday and I want to get it all rolled.
After that, waiting for oat seed, beans to be cut, then 2nd wheats, in an ideal world that would all happen early next week.

It depends on how wet/dry it is before it rains here. The 40+ mm of rain has only just got the drains running here, so hopefully it will dry up quickly.

Great conditions here, cracking on our best yields always come from sowing now aim to be done by next weekend, fingers crossed.

ha , in response to renaulltman , nor am I an atheist though could be said im a selective believer and have come o the view that whatever your god im not going to let him/her get in my way of getting sown up otherwise that would rule out working friday sat and sunday

Sounds same as up here. One place 85 acres in ten fields. Folding power harrow, drill comes in handy in bits like that.
Folding ph/drill and front hopper along with disc coulters has been a game changer for me, use to have to drop the drill off to move fields and it only held 6cwt! can get best part of a ton in the front hopper and knock on.

About a 1/3rd of wheat in with us , best seedbeds for years everything even the snotty stuff is turning over lovely will carry on with wheat till end of next week then drill barley and then back onto wheat
Forecast does look a bit more unsettled mid week but plough and combi right behind comes into its own then might be steady compared to a lot round here now but it ( last year apart ) gets us over the finish line
