Won’t be serving any until next may april now but ive got some seb coming so will use as much of him as I can. Goonhilly James, Chad, Josh and Elijah in the flask. I’ll probably keep the bulls I used a lot of this year Goonhilly Cameron and Goonhilly Isaac. Cameron is a bit different being from carrickshock Piet 2 from my favourite cow Goonhilly Rebnautical Sylvia http://www.holstein-uk.org/animaldata/animal/factsheet/38342915 And Goonhilly Isaac is from catlane Caleb and has a higher pli than any bull on the list.
I've seen the dam of coolmohan rebnautical when she was a ten year old. She was one of the finest British friesian cows I've seen.

How is Isaac on type? That has been the main reason that any Caleb sons have struggled to get to stud.

Just waiting for some blood tests to come back, but all being well there will be a couple of bulls in A.I. next year that might interest you out of a great cow you bred ... 🤞😉

What would they be sired by?

A Jingle and a Karactacus. They look great on their genomics at the minute - hopefully they’ll still be up there when they’re released late next year (health tests permitting) - although there has been quite a bit of volatility in the Friesian genomic proofs lately.

What company will be selling them genus?

Just found it a jingle out of a chad?
You should try the modern British friesian. I think you would be pleasantly surprised!View attachment 264168

Yes, the Chad in @Friesianfan ‘s picture and the one that was on page 1 of this thread, and on the front cover of the 2017 Genus catalogue ...

Just classified 92-3E as a sixth calver with 96 points on her legs and feet 👍

She just flushed 11 embryos at just 60 days calved by Jingle and Inch Patrick.

Shes not with you anymore? Is he the wyevalley herd?

She was sold as an in calf heifer to the Beaufort herd and I purchased her at their milking portion sale in 2018. To confuse matters our Wyevalley herd relocated from the Wye Valley up to North Northumberland in 2018....

Isaac has a slight positive on type but still good production. I’ll look forward to seeing the new bulls

Thanks. I'm sad that they are going but I just dont have the room and need to be realistic about what I can do on my own.

I sold 40 IC heifers a few weeks ago. It's always a bit sad selling really promising looking heifers but it also nice to have cash in the bank, fewer mouths on the farm and know we should be in for a slightly easier spring next year.
