I know there have been one or two threads on this topic over the years, and possibly this thread belongs in off topic.
However I strongly believe an award should be given, for the poster who has done the most to cheer us up, in these dark days of the plague.
In my humble opinion, it is very difficult to identify the person who has done more than any other, and I know many, especially a certain Dairy Farmer from Anglesey, who would put @Bald Rick at the top of the list. He certainly for a long time, had good claim for this crown, but in the past few weeks, 3, have stepped up to the plate and soared into the clouds of exhilarating humour, dominating certain threads with a constant stream of satire.
Their never ending, seemingly naive beliefs, posted with such poker faces in support of the most preposterous ideas left me, and I am sure, many others streaming with tears of laughter.
These three, more than any others, deserve that famous mug, which we all crave nearly as much as a certain ring. This year all three posters for the humour award, are up for their wonderful political satire and they all richly deserve it, but sadly there always has to be a winner.
So runner up
step forward
@bluegreen
and in first place
@Honest john
Sorry @Pasty you must try harder in 4 years time
To our American friends who will be annoyed to have missed out, I suggest you try for the best drama next time, American humour never goes well with a British audience.
