Maybe he was sick to death and was at the end of his tether

I can’t tell what sort of car from the video but even a generic Vauxhall hatchback or similar will be late teens on a 70 reg. Definately not cheap by any sense.

It's my guess the guy had called police , as usual had not turned up.
Possibly the car driver wanted to take the farmers daughter out and didn't approve... if he has shotgun license he will surely loose it
