thats the one advantage you do get with ordering and contracting a custom blend, you know whats going into it, can't wait for the new feeders to go in and then ill switch over to blend only

That might make some of the competition sweat a bit. I think its Oceania that said they'd pay out more than Fonterra every year to get supply.

See muller paying out extra on the Lidl milk just shows how tight the whole supply is getting!
Lidl deserve some praise really, it's a great gesture from them, no doubt its needed to keep the supply up.
I'm extremely grateful to Lidl, I am one of the 200 directs that signed 40% of my milk at 29p.
With Nitram that I need to buy at £640, it simply wasn't going to stack up. The trouble is I'm reducing cow numbers to be a bit more efficient and make the job easier for my team, but as I do that I have even more proportion of my litres going at 29p

Yep, simple economics.. Only way to get their hands deeper into their pockets is to have the tankers coming into their yards half full.
If we running that far below now I wonder how far behind it will be next year if there is limited amounts of fertiliser on farms.
