And Gordon Brown

Gordon Brown is rightly upset about vaccines not being available for poorer countries. Vaccination via a pill can't come soon enough for countries without the infrastructure to deliver protection by other means. The antivirals that are now approved will be game changers, too.

There can't be areas where the virus has chance to further mutate into aggressive variants.

Todays headline in The Times.

Crumbs at this rate we will be getting a jab with the weekly shop in LIDL. It was going about Twitter yesterday the CEO of Phizer spent the day scrolling through Estate Agents websites in the Bahamas! Hopefully we Brits will get back to the Billy basic cheap AZ jab. Or is this all part of the grand UK USA trade deal. We take cheap chlorinated chicken and Phizer Covid jabs. I think we should be told.

Millions set for early fourth Covid vaccination

Data confirms Omicron is less severe but warns of fading booster protection after ten weeks

I've happily had three jabs but I'm not sure I will take a fourth unless a really virulent strain comes along

Quite agree. With the obvious exception of the clinically vulnerable and the elderly, I can't see the point in continually boosting the immune system. The main reason behind this current booster seems to be more about protecting the NHS from being overwhelmed than anything else. But in reality getting the remaining 6 to 8 million who still haven't had a first dose jagged, would be a far better solution to that dilemma.

So no more jabs for you?
