Lot's of expensive heavy metal mentioned so far.
Won't Moore type drills work on heavy ground ?
If I give up the plough, I only want one implement to replace plough/ PH / air drill.

Main reason for looking is for the new SFI scheme thats coming out ( think thats what it`s called)
You need to min till a certain % of land
Payment should cover cost of SH machine
May even be tempted by a SH Simtech drill

Oh and tax bill was far to high this year o_O

I'll just subsoil and go.
This year did half like this and half ploughed.
Results at harvest. Looks the same now.
I've direct drill here if anyone asks I did some with that. ;)

I have been looking at the Simtech since I saw one at Groundswell, I've applied for the grant, will wait and see if I get it.

I bought a sh 2018 dalbo 300 supermax last autumn it has
done a very good job but it is very heavy as it has double ring
rollers .Its been pulled with a MF7726 and you wouldn't want
anything much lighter on it.
