....unless 'landed gentry' smoke rollies...has evaporated milk in his coffee....has 2 days a yr when he doesn't do any work.....farms with scrap machinery and occasionally downs a bottla toffee vodka in less than 2 hours
...the last thing i shot was poorly sheep (and i nearly missed that fekker)....never skied and drives a battered old van......someone said the other day i was worth £3million.....but thats only if i sell up and pay tax....then what?....i don't want to travel and do bourgeois [email protected] just wanna be left alone on my little patch to enjoy the countryside and raise a few sheep....bitta rant cos accountant reckons the farming bit doesn't make enough money and i'm at risk of being classified as a 'hobby farmer'...the definition of which is someone who deliberately farms to loose money...all i can say is what a feckin 'hobby'
.....that finally fixed i have senior moments as first i get an 11mm spanner.....scramble under and it needs a 10mm......back out then back....adjust linkage.....crawl out to find i've adjusted wrong way

take this afternoon....smeg (a tractor older than @robbie ) has a faulty spool valve....the linkage...2 hours scrabbling under then over to fix...grazed knuckles...muck falling in eyes......holding bracket lost a bolt so under the tractor... poked new bolt thru then scrambled out to put nut on in cab only for bolt to have fallen out
best of it is....it wasn't a 'bad day really'

If it's any consolation I lost the back window out of my tractor, again, despite having a mesh guard up the back of the tractor and a high mesh headboard on the spreaderthats what i thought....feck me
