Let me guess the NFU have suggested incorporating it with the RT police 🤣🤣🤣

Which it pretty much already is
Spoke to my agronomist this morning who then spoke to the NFU and they say they have been blind sided by this, come out of nowhere. They have serious concerns about it because dressed seed has to be declared as well and this could be seen to any lobby groups as farmers applying tons of pesticide to land each year. The advice I have received from the NFU (through my agronomist ) is to hold fire filling in the form and the NFU are going to fight it. Make of that what you will!

The seed issue begs the question what if you dress your own?
Do you fill in the amount of concentrated dressing before application, or the final tonnage of dressed seed?

Always the best way with things like this - never register until deadline day.

"expressed its disappointment" Well done NFU once again really earning the fees from your membership, good to see you really standing and sticking it to the government on such issues
Not sure they really care as I believe it has been set up quietly to catch out everyone (especially smaller farmers) who are not registered with Red Tractor & NRoSO imho

Read NFU response, Farmers Weekly page 8. FFS. Get real man. 'Bad timing due to stress on farmers at mo'. NO. It's just completely pointless form filling. It'll take 10 mins, but that's not the point.
If only it'd be a pointless form done in ten minutes, which I'd be happy to complete! I fear that's only the start, and they'll be all over your spraying operations, with farm visits to check you're observing all the rules.
Has anyone heard what enforcement actions might be likely, given that not registering will be a criminal offence?
