Northern Ireland Milk Price Tracker

I hope it wasnt the contractor left it like that, well suppose itd be a good bargainin tool for discount
I think any contractor near me would have a good reply for you if you asked for discount for leaving it as full as that.

We do all our own silage, bales, slurry.
Il post a picture this evening when the cover is going on.

I haven't heard exactly but would expect this year to pay 10-12 to mow, bale and wrap

Bales are handy but this year its the price of everything and the weather window we're in.

I’ve heard £14 to row bale and wrap
At current crops the rakin should be less than £1 per bale. Single wrap the plastic costs is just below £3, litre of diesel say £1, driver, tractor £1, baler £1.50 plys whatever net costs. So wev reached £8.50 plus the nett and this includes raking. Where does the £14 come from

A neighborhood puts his at £0 because he has his own tractor and trailer 🤦🏼‍♂️ Not joking!
Northern Ireland is the worst for people valuing themselves at £0, know a heap of farmers who don’t even value their tractor against jobs they do for themselves they just think the contractor is making a killing because they can do everything for nothing themselves. (I’m not a contractor)
