Ok sounds promising, found a straight looking mc130 only a couple of hours away. Does any one know if the tier 3 Perkins in them suffer with the injection pump and injector problems like Massey's of that era?
Tier3 Perkins will have a Caterpillar common-rail system. The engine will be identical to those used by MF and have the large valve overlap that gives simple internal EGR but rather high part load fuel consumption. These would be from 2008 on I think. McCormick [NOT McCorMACK] changed from Perkins to FPT while MF went to Sisu. Nothing wrong with the Perkins and I run a four cylinder tier3 myself. It’s done about 4500 hours trouble free and it pulls well, as it should for a 100hp tractor boosting to 110hp, the same power and more torque than a County 1174 but with semi-powershift change on the go.

You on a JD payroll or what? Seen boys like this before that drag down some things and turns out they're an agent for a competitor.
He might work for that other lot on the way in.
Who incidentally used to sell universal (which I think may have been a belarus) before iirc orange then green, red now a different red. They all need to start somewhere, give the guys a chance as far as I'm concerned the more franchises and less multi depo single colour outlets on the doorstep the better.

Back to the op, had a neighbour who had a Mc. along with other red and green tractors. It did seem to be the last tractor out the yard for various reasons, some of which were no memory for presets on any electronic controls and less refined apparently but probably just less designerish.
None of the above would affect the op I don't think.

Had a really good look at this at the Highland show and I thought it looked a handy piece of kit.
