We should start an ice cream tracker thread.
Mr whippy icecream and flake at Monmouth was nearly £4 today.
Icecream van at hereford market is good value and a tidy icecream. Just a shame it seems fashionable by some not to use the massive carpark who instead park outside the main entrance so it stops mr whippy being in the prime/handy spot.

Cattle were a good trade in Gisburn yesterday. There was a better trade than spring for 8-10 month stirks, little soft Hereford heifers £650-750 that would melt outside. Virtually anything 18m+ was £1100, yet people moaning about costs and the end price not lifting, and as everywhere a bigger show than normal for the time of year. Madness

There was a new buyer causing a bit of a stir in the bottom ring. Spent a lot which drove trade on a bit. There was a big run of big blues which he bought most of which were all £11s and£1200s I haven't been for a few weeks so couldn't comment on whether trade was up or down.
Who was new buyer?? There’s a fella from up here seems to be going further and further afield!!!

Had one bulling at 4 months 9 days last year - was being ridden by a steer calf - picked the heifer calves out straight away , but was too late - the bull had got her.
It can happen i suppose, depends if its the true age or registered as being born 3-4 wks after being born
