This should have said winter beans not spring.We use a modified Kuhn Prolander for putting our spring beans in 4” deep . Usually subsoil behind the combine then spray off stale seed bed as late as we dare then use the Prolander to drill them . we have a rau/ einbok cultivator with same looking tines , and looking for some spares , they 13 mm thick will put tape across them tommorow

At what growth stage can you go up to with kerb or is it already applied?My beans tested at only 75% germ so I didn’t cut the rate at much as intended. So, sown at 175. I think I have been much too thick the last years; happy with this

Kerb on beans is recommended up to 4 leaves, I think it used to be 6.i don’t use Kerb, I use something much more expensive .
