The Camhi pro range are the same as those sold by one of the specialised ag camera people at quite a premium... Bought two Ag cameras with grant money, so I needed to hit the grant conditions!! ;)

I have both types here and easy to setup and use. Only thing that annoys me is no ability to use Chrome as a web browser for monitoring. App only.
Get hardwired POE if within 100m of a router, assuming you don't have to cross a yard.
I put a wired access point on top of the farm house which has given a really good level of coverage now around the yards. Want to try a solar cam for coverage of one difficult spot across the fields and seem to have a good wifi connection at 150m.

Is this zoom the same on them? The pro seems to suggest 20x zoom
Maybe but not very clear. It’s 210ft long x 100ft wide the shed so I guess I need more than one so handy if we could het it cheaper

The one I have (model number unknown) can zoom in on a ewe 200m away across the fields, albeit I cannot see her tag number :)

I'd say a couple would be useful in the situation you describe.

Really annoying with mine also (hikvision) that you need to use an app to view.

Would v much like to be able to see them on my desktop.

Clever bit of branding on the cam hi sales website. I may be wrong but I’m fairly sure that the company behind that are capitalising on the success of the app, with which they have no actual ownership connection.

Loads of makes of camera can use the Cam Hi Pro mobile app and associated desktop apps too. You don’t have to go to that specific website to buy one if you don’t want to - my last one came from Amazon.

no idea, but they offered a 12 month warranty on all their cameras and are on whatsap for support, that swayed my decision

True. And other makes can be cheaper.

But, the camhi branded cameras are particularly easy to connect to the camhi app, other makes can vary between a pain, and not happening IME.

Don’t ask me how to do it but a quick google search appears to say you can view it on your desktop. With instructions how.

Ubiquiti are offering decent cameras now, has anyone used them?

They also offer a wireless bridging solution that can cover up to 2000ft but does rely on a line of site.

The beauty of this is everything is monitored through a single app.
