The last few years we have had a pretty massive drop-off in our turbines. Installed 2012 and normally in the 90000kw but last few years a drop of and this year the worse. They a serviced yearly by a well respected company and 2 had magnets repotted on etc. In central scotland.

Maybe a longshot to find someone with 3 provens but has anyone experiencing similar? Fortunately there at a serious rate this year but 30k kw more would be an extra £20k!

I have been recording data from each of the invertors and there adding up.

I will include there annual generation and wind speed data i got from the met office from local weather station. Everytime i take reading i just get frustrated... last year exactly today only done 61000kw.

Another point , do you have tracking on the inverters? It may be that you are experiencing over voltage thanks to grid issues ( we have had this on a solar install ) the result was a throttling or total shut down . Also do you track then individually ?

What was or is wind speed records too possibly?
Did you replace new magnets and stator(core) totally?
What does your service chap or people you had magnets and core off say??
Have you done anything to the rectifer box or renewed anything there?

The windspeeds i got was from a couple miles away for last 5 years and i broke that down to a daily average per knots.
I think they just refurbished the magnet plates after a couple were cracked or broken off.
Service lads just think its lack of wind, im not sure so last week i had a different company service them but appart from one of the brushes not msking a good contact on the brass flywheel thing on one turbine that was all they found.
I dont think anything like that was changed. I will include invoice.

We have two Proven installed in 2012. Our did exactly the same slowly got worse. We put new blades on two years ago. Have done more KW than they have ever done.

Mine would of been 2012 too. What sort of generation did they drop of too and what now? Is that the new style blades that have a curve on them? I was told i should try them but at £4k i wasnt sure id worth it. Must be though?

They dropped by about 30%. Yes they are the curved blades around that price fitted. We can get up to max power regularly now we couldn’t before. We couldn’t believe how rough the old blades where very weathered.

I guess you live by the manufacturers up there do you too?
Didn't know they refurbished or stuck new magnets on?
New magnet plates build up in resin now compared to old one?
So old stator core the same is it?
