What is the business model for exhibitors to attend such shows? Do they sell much as a reasult?

All those pens, pads, bags and that get picked up by kids has a cost to supply, does it sell much product?

Is it brand recognition?

I found it very difficult to navigate round efficiently, thought it could have been zoned better. Was only there to look at a few specific things, walked past lots of stands of no interest and no doubt missed lots that would have been.
Next year speak to the organisers and see if they can put all the stands your interested in in one hall to make it easier for you 😂

Was anyone giving away woolly hats this year? I normally manage to scrounge a couple to replace the ones my dog runs off with over the winter, but I was so busy getting on with stuff this week while the frost is in that I didn't make it this year. (Because I registered for my ticket weeks ago, I wonder if I'll go in the statistics as an attendee?)
I may end up having to actually buy a hat at some point 😱

I went through the entire list of exhibitors on my iPad because it’s too hard to do on your phone and then had to put the ones I’m interested in on the app on phone but at the show the map is too hard/slow to load, it doesn’t tell you which exhibitors you are interested in are in the same hall so you have to go through it all manually to work it out or you end up missing one and walking all the way back, not to mention trying to work out the numbering system…

Wasn't too difficult to walk around the edges where most of the small stands were and you could see the middle from either side, if something grabbed your attention go and see it then get back to the edge

Autonomous tractor from Agxeed, shame they they had a terrible stand, we were looking for them and walked straight by, I believe they have the only commercially working autonomous tractors working in the uk.

Had an unscheduled look round their factory in the summer. Its in the same large shed as a packing room than Prinzen took us to to look at their latest egg handling kit. The egg farmer has a share in the robotic tractor firm I believe.

Didn’t have time to ask many questions, but it seemed like an assembly room, presume the chassis manufacture etc was done elsewhere.

At the back of this picture you can see the eggs going up the conveyor!
