In all honesty I believe it will be important to not abuse this too much, an extra week or two either end I don’t see as a problem, cutting hedges in June and you’ll be strung up!

And for info, under SFS to be introduced hedges that are to be counted towards your 10% habitat must be:
- either 1.5m high x 2m wide OR 2m high x 1.5m wide
- and must be stock proof without any artificial fencing
- any hedge entered in to the scheme must meet the above criteria by 2030 regardless of when you enter the scheme
