I thought I read somewhere that El Niño ends in April. I hope so or I’m getting a different job. Arable farming is becoming a pointless exercise here.

Been wet here for 6 months.nice day yesterday and spent 2 hours cutting grass around yard fir first time this year.was bloody freezing but dry.now another day of rain and same forecast for next week .another day in front of the wood burner

Few days dry have given us half a chance, or a false sense of spring
Actually it will make 10 days difference .
No way owt will be sown here this month , so yes a waste of time

just as well he does because he’s not going to have a lot of straw to trade this summer !
It's farming , farming weather . have you nothing better to do
Every chance a ton of straw will cost more than a ton of wheat
