I don't think there's going to be an issue with moisture for a while yetAny1 use 34%n? Does it need rain like urea or is it like 27%?
Hopefully the rest follow suit@Nathan818
I was at FMT agm this evening. Tirlan will be announcing tomorrow that the 2024/25 winter bonus will be 3ppl, adjusted for quality, paid for 5 months starting in October '24. Also there will no longer be a charge for everyday collection.
Well I'll certainly not be complaining about that. That brings them miles ahead of the rest in terms of winter bonus. I take it the mood was a bit more upbeat than the previous meeting then?@Nathan818

But the cows just go to another dairy farm so no less milkThere'd nearly need to be something more in the way of encouragement to keep at this.Certainly seems to be a larger number of dispersal sales than normal. ...

I’ve heard reports that the sun may come out this afternoon. You need a long shafted shammy to maximise intakeBack to the weather, I have a small solar panel set, and I see from the rocs submission that the output is down by about 20%.
I'll be on crying about the bad base price in May,June and July. As we say, smoke and mirrorsWorth remembering that in and of itself it doesn't increase the amount a dairy pays out in an accounting year. It just shifts the money around, so it benefits people who produce most of their milk in those five months.
What time period does that cover?Back to the weather, I have a small solar panel set, and I see from the rocs submission that the output is down by about 20%.
What time period does that cover?
That’s the attitude a co-op should have.
