I’ve an ezsteer on an MF 6470 but it’s very slow to react and lock quickly on to the A B line can this be sped up and can it be made to engage in reverse
Was it working ok or is it new to you?
Pretty sure you can't get it to work in reverse.
Mines partnered to a 750 screen and I am sure there is a menu in set up for motor speed, either slow, fast or auto. I would use either auto or fast.
What are your angles per turn and online aggressiveness ?
You have to be pretty much online before engaging else it can struggle.
Try running the set up wizard, make sure you put all the correct measurements in and do a roll calibration.

Yea that’s what I find you have to be pretty much on line for it to engage I use it mainly for spraying. if it worked in reverse you could line your self up and then take off in forwards in the correct place. The other tractor has massey autoguide built in and if you engage too late you can get on tract in reverse

An ez steer is classed as assisted steering and not fully auto steer.
Even the ez pilot wont work in reverse, I believe you have to buy an ez pilot pro which will work for up to 15 seconds in reverse to line up for next swath.
