6520 in today with suspected knackered brakes, after a closer inspection ruled that out.
Opted to go for the hydraulic pump, wasn't a bad guess as pressures where right.
Customer decided to throw brakes in anyway while the oil is been changed and the number of hours so axles coming off anyway.

Brakes are cheap enough anyway if you are in there!

Still, at least my superior skill at the wheel meant I could utilise the draw bar and pto stub to come to a controlled stop.
Top half of the clevis was left on purely for the added strength whilst demonstrating my abilities.

That's the insides of the hydraulic pump.
Just replacing brakes in third pic, don't need to disturb the gears.

Yep. When spreading fym in the autumn I lost grip going uphill with the dung spreader so it went on a little thick and I forgot about it till this afternoon with the forager and half a traIler of grass going downhill
I bet there was swearing.......

Broken pto stub which I'm sure my local JD dealer will surprise me when he tells me how cheap it is
and some bent panel work that covers the drive shaft. Well I hope it's just the panel work anyway. Replace stub, fire it up and see what wobbles is the plan!

On trailers for my neighbour today at a place they've been chopping for probably 30 years.
Customer's buckraking outfit blew a hose so had to bring out his new toy. Manitou 625. Astonishing capacity and lift height in such a tiny package.
