There’s the secret that field had nothing on it since 1st of November. Grass grows grass. (Not saying you do/did) but unless sheep are part of your core business they have NO beneficial use on a dairy farmFor fudge sake. Protien is up to 4.43 this am. Never had it so high.
Ive bought another new to me springfield stainless steel hot water cylinder, but the control box that was with it was in a dozen or more bits, and was bodged up with duct tape.
Dont think springfield is still in business, and not had much luck looking on the net last night for a replacement box with a clear opening front door.
Does anyone know where i could get something similar, or even the correct name for the box. Thanks

Cant say ive been breeding for it for years. Just bought the cows we want and its paying off. Fat holding at 4.85.On both litres? All joking aside that’s phenomenal. Would you put that down to genetics?

Jersey on Holstein,a few Norwegian crosses onto these coming in now .although in fairness the bulk of the herd are lower maintenance holsteins and NZ friesians.What cross?
Our fats dipped since we've upped the zg, 3.75, 3.24, AV 35 litres on 9kg bought in conc plus a little maize,grass silage, chopped straw.Mine are doing 4.26fat 3.33 protein 32.2 litres
