Will Farmers and Farm Workers be classed as Key Workers?!

I can't believe this!!! I hope you are joking. This country is up against the wall, everyone pulling together and some t***s are trying to make money out of it [emoji35]

What?! I was thinking charging £300/family/week for one of the parents to go on the books, along with 2 days a week doing all the crappy jobs I can't be bothered with.

By the end of next week i'll have a workforce of thousands.

I'm not sure I grasp the point you're making.
same as you why if government pays them £100 would they pay you £300, can see why you need the farmers dole money to keep going , is quite simple farmers always want to to be exempt or want it for free ,won't need a lot of food if half the population snuffs it, after more than 40 years on farms seen a lot of very busy farmers that don't seam to do a lot in a day

You are familiar with the concept of a joke?

Stress relief from laughter
A good sense of humor can't cure all ailments, but data is mounting about the positive things laughter can do.

Short-term benefits
A good laugh has great short-term effects. When you start to laugh, it doesn't just lighten your load mentally, it actually induces physical changes in your body. Laughter can:

Stimulate many organs. Laughter enhances your intake of oxygen-rich air, stimulates your heart, lungs and muscles, and increases the endorphins that are released by your brain.
Activate and relieve your stress response. A rollicking laugh fires up and then cools down your stress response, and it can increase and then decrease your heart rate and blood pressure. The result? A good, relaxed feeling.
Soothe tension. Laughter can also stimulate circulation and aid muscle relaxation, both of which can help reduce some of the physical symptoms of stress.

IMO the parents would pay more if you sent their little darlings home too tired to play up! What have you got in mind? I will have wild oats that will need hand pulling in June/July - I advertise it as "come and get paid for a natural sun tan. Tanned legs not included"

:ROFLMAO:

N.B. laughter emojis designed to denote humour used. Nothing serious, folks.

You jest but vitamin D has been shown to lessen the chances of getting a respiratory infection quite substantially.

Vitamin D is important for the correct functioning of the immune system but as long as you are not deficient then increasing your levels will not help. I have to take Vit D supplements as my body doesn't process it properly, despite working out of doors a lot. I was so deficient it was making me ill and I had to have high doses on prescription for 3 months to get me back to normal levels. I still take 2000 iu/day but I have nearly run out and was not able to get any last week due to idiots buying it unnecessarily.

The chap on YouTube (Dr, can't remember his name but I think most people have watched his stuff) suggests that research printed in the british medical journal shows those with a low vitamin D actually decrease their chances of respiratory bacterial and viral infection by 80% (from memory) If they supplement to normalise the levels. Those that supplemented once a week or every day irrespective of blood levels reduced their chances by 20%. That's a huge figure and how many people know their vit D levels?

My other half had brain fog and various other symptoms a few years back which was low vit D.

Cleaning out the poultry muck store and washing it, followed by sweeping down the old grain bin store and hoovering it out. For starters.....

I think all humans are deficient in Vit. D. Most common nutrient that is short.

And if so, how much are you going to charge your friends in order to put them on the books so they can send their kids to school?
Well that fell a bit flat. My neighbours sister has a bad leg she is in her 80s and the nurse was rubbing her leg and saying how swollen it was, my comment was how come you can rub her leg, she wont let me do that. well I thought it was funny, mind I've always said ill get locked up one day.
Think I upset Will 1594 a few weeks back still what the hell.
