its cheap bearings, imagine nh were prob 'shafted' on them but never the less there is still tonnes of them out there that just fail prematurely and do differing degrees of damage and expense when they go, depending on how early there caught. its a gamble i am just not willing to take, i can live with the possibility of a syncro on 3rd gear in a dyna 6 over 200bhhp (or twice if you pay lemon to fix it ) but catastrophic failure due to faulty bearings is worrying.

To be fair though thats probably pauper tractors, i.e over 10 years old which i could afford perhaps the new ones are better?
shame really as they do sound great and i believe the engines are good.
We brought a Dyna 6 thinking it would be reliable. It was delivered brand new with a fault code. “It’s just a sensor its fine”. 9hrs on the clock winched onto a low loader, we never saw it again.
Apparently they hadn’t put the holes in the oil galleries or something and it welded itself up solid.
