Id quite happily be converted to a dark green and red, I just can’t justify one [emoji23] Local dealer said just the other day a new 720 power plus was £125k :(
My MF man said the 7S.260 they have ordered will be 120k. I'd go red and buy something to go on the back for that difference.

No doubt there will soon be more news about both the engines and transmissions [and every other feature] well before they become generally available for delivery.

 What do you mean?
more news about engines and transmissions?
From what agco have said the new generation of engine will be available at the end of 2021.

Used to run quite a few MFs in our fleet...
Gradually switched to fendt and haven't regretted it
I don't miss the aggravation of dealing with constant niggles and electrical problems associated with mf. We keep one around for a specific job but that's it.
The new s8 cab is really nothing special inside, looks like a fendt cab with cheap massey touches
Staying with fendt here

But how much is a t7235 or whatever model with a standard 200 hp before boost with cvt and same spec gonna cost? Probably wont be much cheaper. Fendt probably has never been more affordable in terms of the price other brands are costin. Years ago fendt was alot more expensive compared to other brands but not now even though tgey stil hold the premium status over the rest
At least £30k difference.

A 720 is 125k. A long wheelbase nh auto command with all the bells and whistles will be more than 95k. Was told other week by customer they were quoted over 90 for a t7210 with a pretty basic spec

Im not sure of the inns and outs of the fendt power plus trim, but they had a profi plus in too which was considerably more (I didn’t ask)

Is the power plus version ready for guidance etc?

What's the quote?
does it really matter its a quote is for?

to be fair the NH in comparison is an ageing design, gearbox and engine, not to mention styling :censored: when did that style come out? when the 6400 mfs were around...can you really compare it?

in my opinion definitely not.

nh sound great, but aged design and the horrific bearing failures in gearboxes shared on here on low hour models costing several thousands and intergalactic spares prices particularity panels i dont think i could ever own one regardless of price...

Is the quality just not in them? Ud think a nh tranny should be super reliable as the range command and power command has been around for years now but theres stil problems. Makes ye wonder why

its cheap bearings, imagine nh were prob 'shafted' on them but never the less there is still tonnes of them out there that just fail prematurely and do differing degrees of damage and expense when they go, depending on how early there caught. its a gamble i am just not willing to take, i can live with the possibility of a syncro on 3rd gear in a dyna 6 over 200bhhp (or twice if you pay lemon to fix it ;)) but catastrophic failure due to faulty bearings is worrying.

https://thefarmingforum.co.uk/index.php?threads/t7-200-gearbox-problems.234512/

if im not mistaken in the first 2 posts of it covers power command and range command, del boy says 13k of repairs

To be fair though thats probably pauper tractors, i.e over 10 years old which i could afford perhaps the new ones are better?

shame really as they do sound great and i believe the engines are good.
