Wish that was the case. If you look closley ive had to weld in quite a bit of metal but tried to keep as much as i could to keep the shape. Will put a skim of filler on what will be seen. Ive got the front screen and 2 lower screens out on the tractor too . Already repaired the pillars and step sils. Your right about the oil i will be giving it all a good dose once sprayed up. Were i work we use stuff called corrosion X and LPS 3 which is brilliant rust inhibitor but very expensive🤣😁

Looking for some advice I have a case 885 with the small cab not flat floor and the electrics have gone berserk. The handbrake lights have been dodgy since we bought it. A while ago high low beam stopped working just low beam on all three switch positions then yesterday the ignition light and the handbrake lights are now on constantly unless you wriggle the loom behind the dash in which case it all turns off.yesterday I was re wireing the third service in and with the sides of the dash apart had everything working handbrake lights good ,hi low beam and everything was turning off as should . then Sod’s law put the dash together and it goes haywire any suggestions would be appreciated as today’s job is sorting the mess out

Go for the multi plugs on the bulkhead behind the battery. Common place for corrosion. Connectors can work loose from the plastic plug and sometimes just need pushed in again.

I don't own any IH tractors but I did work at main IH dealer from 1976-80 and I remember a lot that went on even after all these years !!
Now then I don't want to put a spoiler on things what will be an interesting topic but there is a photo of a 474 on
an R plate making it 1976-77
The 474 was replaced by the Perkins
engine 475 in 1975
Did you ever come across a 235A?
