Campus averaged 3.8t/ha including bare areas/ pigeon damage.
Happy with that and certainly the lowest input osr I have grown in a long time.
Drilled with Claydon and 30kgN in the autumn
160kg/ha N urea/sulphur bought earlier on at £365t.
Kerb, couple of fungicides, glyphosate and Zipod

Update again: I can’t quite believe it but it’s over a weighbridge that was ministry tested 2 weeks ago but we’ve had a 40ac field (very heavy black clay) do 4.9t/ac at 17.2% moisture. So adjusted after drying that’s 4.77t/ac.
It only had 100kg N and 35kg/ha S. Then we used a biological N (soil N bacteria) at 20l/ha and a foliar N & K at 17l/ha.

Brings our average yield so far to 3.5t/ac which considering the lack of water I’m happy with especially as we’ve used 125kg/ha less N we normally would. Massive savings in input costs and is it proof we’ve all been using to much? I suspect we won’t make group 1 but we’ll see over the coming days.

Field on the 22nd June pic attached. Drilled with a Triton.

My gut feeling is this has been a year where sunshine and and a dryer colder spring have combined to produce good yields with less use of nitrogen.

Brave enough to do same treatment again over half your acreage?
