Grain yields 2022

Location

Thought it would be a good idea now that harvest 2022 is well underway to have a thread with grain yields/ variety of Barley/ Wheat etc all in one place.

So how are your crops yielding for 2022?

@Dman2 seems to be happy with yields but he does farm something that makes good bricks and drainage pipes!

I'm not expecting to break records but it's all died that quick that I haven't had chance to even roundup the headlands!
It will need a few green grains to get it up to 14%

Snap, on the combine, could potentially try some barley from Sunday but that's down to the customer. Few more jobs left to do on the combine but nothing major.

Just finished our barley, Orwell has done 7.5 t ha estimated not over weighbridge, bushel is far better than I thought it would be at 69, it's been very dry here, crops looked excellent in April, very little rain since then, spring barley and wheat could be ready in two weeks with these temperature's, not going to break any records here but the winter barley has done better than expected.

Barley 5-7t/ha with not much straw.
Local osr yields are hovering around 3.5t/ha. I think we’ll be in light land wheat by next Wednesday.
Some very big hay yields as well but it’ll even out as there won’t be any 2nd/3rd cuts of silage/hayledge at this rate.

Winter malting, electrum 5.5-7t/ha here, depending on farm. All in spec for a good premium. Farm saved seed and cheap to grow.
It should all have been 7t really but more work needed at some places.
Elgar OSR 3.4t/ha.
Into the blazen osr today.
overall I am actually quite happy considering the lack of rain.

3-3.3t/acre and loads of straw (6 400kg hesstons per acre) but we were lucky and just about got sufficient rain for the winter barley. Haven't weighed the hesstons, very dry straw!!! Fiddled with N rates, down from usual 200kgN/ha to 180.

Not looking forward to w wheat or S barley - moisture limited, and guessing yields will be at least 0.5t/acre down from expected.

Hawking Winter Barley, guesstimate at just shy of 3.5 t/acre off good soil, 4th cereal, loads of straw but a orange colour tinge to it is this normal ( not grown winter barley for years)
Don’t think wheats will be any record breakers it’s dying on its feet

Guy who tests our sprayer is from north of York and he said they had had a load more rain the other day than it looked like some parts of the vale had had
