What's with Russian fert still coming into the uk

Heard from somone ( who is in the fert trade) today that 9000 ton of Russian fert was delivered to the uk this last week and some going to USA . I thought trade was band or is it that a case of old contracts can still be filled . More worrying is the thought that governments tell us one thing and do the opposite and take us for fools .
I personally would not buy anything that i knew was either wholly or even part made in Russia .

In the end it's about money and modern GB not willing to make sacrifices despite Russia and China pointing nukes at us.
Would t have seen us educating our adversaries in '39. Now Chinese and Russians are welcome to come here and pay the fees only to go home back to their labs.

Only way to stop a snake is to grab it by the throat. Hard. Why are we still allowing their money into the country, we should be freezing their assets, their money and interning all their ships and cargoes. The longer this goes on the more people will die.

Greed

It's why BP are currently making £1200 profit every second

It's why trade with Russia is still continuing

It's why people are saying it's ok to buy Russian fertiliser and fund Putin's war

It happened between the US and Nazi Germany for much of the second world war, and such morally corrupt behaviour will continue to happen as we sleepwalk into the forthcoming third world war

The rich don't care if people die, provided there is a profit from the deaths

Enjoy what you have while you still can, because nobody knows how much longer you'll have it

It's just like buying gas, regardless of where you buy it you still fuel demand, even if you don't buy from Russia you create a vacuum that will be filled by Russian product somewhere down the line.

It's how the world works, so those who sit on a high horse and say they don't support Russia are either delusional or just not very bright.

I don't support Russia- I want them stopped.

So far the West has done very little besides send weapons. Don't people see the message we are sending other nations? Let me spell it out:

'You can do pretty much what you like if you have nuclear weapons'.

just because you buy fert that originated in Russia doesn’t mean your supporting the Russian government and their war with the Ukrainian. Yes some money may trickle back to them through taxes but many businesses are owned by the western world. I don’t support what they’ve done in the Ukrainian but sometimes it’s important to keep your friend close but your enemies closer. In doing so you may still have power to sway their judgment in matters.

Stopped how?
New leader, do you want to choose the new one?
Russia destroyed?
All Russians rounded up and sent home and the country sealed off from the world?
Or just a withdraw from Ukraine?

America does pretty much what it likes because they have nuclear weapons.

Like climate change. Enjoy the world and gas guzzling while you can because you know China and those over there won't contribute to slow global warming.

No need to worry about saving the world our clown of a prime minister is trying to cut our N usage by 30%. Everyone else will be cashing in on an over supply of N, high grain prices and fresh air. As for us, we are going to be stuck with mediocre crops and a lower standard of living. Big business run the world with political handouts and crooked deals. If the US really wanted to stop Putin and save the Ukrainian I see no reason why a tragic hasn’t occurred to Putin. Truth is they are just the same.

Most Russian money is Western money which was used to buy Russian commodities.

Whilst Westminster was stopping North Sea expansion, banning fracking and building "Renewables" - we were buying fossil fuels from Russia.

The general public won't have known about this but Westminster did and the Russians living in £100 million buildings a stones throw away from No.10 & 11

Russia had less than nothing at the end of Glasnost. Then the West went in - Russians got Shares in Russian conglomerates - then the Oligarchs & some Westerners took the shares in exchange for Bread.

.......Enjoy what you have while you can......

If visiting the amazon rainforest is something you wish to do, best jump on a fuel thirsty aeroplane before the fires and clear felling mean there's nothing but desert and mineshafts to see

If swimming in the sea is a pleasure you enjoy, best keep at it before the sewerage and plastic waste make it too poisonous to partake

We can do bugger all to change the course of destruction that the human race is stampeding towards

Nurse, where's my medication, I'd like to go for a little sleep now?

We CAN do something about pollution.

But it doesn't involve those who call themselves "Environmentalists" in the West - they caused Ocean plastic pollution with their idiotic fake "Recycling".
