Tapered end round file alittle smaller than the washer then "screw" it into the washer where the shaft thickens ;-0)Put a round file down there should grab the washer
Got any hook tools ?yeah, trouble is ive Tried that same with a tap and stud/screw extractor of a fairly suitable size and it doesnt grab on the washer as much as on the edge of the seat

tried that but he was blowing after i put him back, all the others were ok ,had them out to sort a bit of hydrolockIf you haven't damaged it too much, leave it be and don't put the new one on.

It splays open pretty wide and a slide hammer can always be added on top!i dont think they work very well? tother type like a slide hammer with a tapered /threaded point might be all right , not a tool i would use very often tho.
the washer is back a bit from the inside edge and well flattened so nothing like that will work as theres nothing to catch hold of.It splays open pretty wide and a slide hammer can always be added on top!
