Iv some cattle been away fatterning and for one reason or another Iv not had chance to go look..
They are Hereford cross and 10/12 will have got to thick they are O+5L grade..
What’s best option straw diet or auction or pants down time

I all ways find Abp grade cattle leaner than most,a good one to one and half leaner .so you might so you might get away 4L 4H with them which would help you a lot
I think Pickstocks are only -35p for a 5L so think il just send them..
Only saving grace is they were bought in October for handy money

Are they actually over fat or are you used to looking at lims, blues etc ?
Is the brisket full ?
Most visitors say ours are to fat o+5 when they see them , but dead they grade r4l
look at the width of the beast above rather than just it's backend .

You could always sell some meat boxes privately and have a few done in the abattoir if you're worried. Where I do a bit they've just started selling meat boxes and it sells out faster than they can get cattle finished and killed at ege minute.
