Hy guyz, have a NH cr 980 and this summer apear on my info view monitor E 0515-00 error code , says it

E0515-05 – L Stubble Height / Flex L Line Disconnected

I read in service manual that the sensor must be between :
The proper voltage range for a properly adjusted sensor is 2.5 to 7.5 volts.
I check mine and it s 7,6 volts.
In manual it say that i should adjust the sensor, anyone know how to adjust the sensor.
I will attach some pictures from the manual and monitor.
Anyoane have a header operator manual?

thank you!!

It will most likely be a bad connection where you plug the combine into the header, the sensor mechanism on the skid could have come off or the wire to the sensor could be damaged. Sometimes the skid can trap the wire.

We did once have an hard to trace fault with the header levelling which was due to a bad connection in a multipin plug on the left hand side under the grain tank.

Check for rat damage or broken wires quite common in the header.
You could try adjusting the sensor, think they are held on by 2 bolts and sensor has slightly slotted holes, slacken bolts and twist sensor slightly and try again

Ok, i ll try that!! L stubble height sensor is that sensor under the header in the left ? On that iron plate?
Yeah inside the skid usually on a linkage rod of some sort connecting to the sensor and skid. Usually a short strap holding them up to stop them dropping too far aswell
Make sure engine is turned off and put the lift ram stop in place before messing about with the sensor . Terribly dangerous things if the engine is running

Depending if the skids hang low enough to get your handil inside to mess with the sensor.
Check the straps havnt stretched as this will cause that 1 skid to hang low which will also effect how far the sensor travels

Yes hang enough, but error code apear only when i hook up the header rise it above the trailer , but not connected with the electrical plug,
Also even when i connect the electrical plug still the same error,
The error disapear when i m in harvest mode low to the ground, and when i rise up the header at the head land again apear,
