had a problem, sorted it out. Had changed to spring calving, but ended up buying grub to feed them all summer, because we dry out, did that for 3 years, and swapped back to autm, and a lot less cows. Less work, less grub, and unfortunately less milk !
yet this year, made enough grub to feed 300+, and another 30 acres of grass, and 40 acres of maize, to go yet, mad mad times.
not only that, when we were looking for more land, not a hope, now not desperate, taken on 120 acres, at low rent
