I've also looked.at their website - particularly the governance section and looked at the profiles of their senior team . 🤔 :scratchhead:
I really am puzzled. An organisation that seems to specialise in housing association governance gets to handle such an important review for a complete national industry sector.
I only have one question - WHY?

They are definitely employed for the review, I agree with you though, seem to fight for ecology judging by previous.. which may be a good thing if they go into it with an open mind as to how ecology comes about in the first instance

James Tickles of the firm appointed to whitewash the review argues (very eloquently) for "decarbonisation" of the housing sector

A perfect mouthpiece for whatever reasons the supermarkets come up with to justify their continued pollution by using our industry's enviromental wealth?

I'll speculate it is because they had already produced a consultation for the AHDB and got the results that the AHDB wanted and so it makes sense for a nudge and wink to develop the right outcome for the NFU and er, you never know a bit more work may come their way...

Pay them some money and they will design some consultancy to come up with whatever answer you want! As surveys go it will be cut and paste shite but they will be able to deliver the answers you want. Ching ching!

No no no- it’s an independent review!!

Ah yes..

Apparently experts in this field too..

Camel TesTickles Survey:

A1 - Yes its 'mazin'
A2 - Yes its bangin'
A3 - No (but we know you really mean to put yes and we're paid for a yes)

A man that is so blind he can only concentrate on population and community ecology? But he neglects the far greater organismal and ecosystem ecology..., bit deep, but in simple terms, farmers deal with the latter two very well day in,day out without even thinking they are doing so, that is what keeps our land green and pleasant.

reading his blog piece there makes me even more sceptical of the involvement of a housing association consultancy.
As an business, they are clearly focussed on decarbonisation for their landlord clients.
Where better to secure a liaison than with the monopoly quality assurance provider to the industry with the biggest carbon sink on the planet ...? 🤔
just sayin' 🤷
