Buff envelopes.I'll speculate it is because they had already produced a consultation for the AHDB and got the results that the AHDB wanted and so it makes sense for a nudge and wink to develop the right outcome for the NFU and er, you never know a bit more work may come their way...
“Likely to be”? “Will be” wouldAbsolutely priceless, and he is likely to be our nest president
your view of the Camel Tickle office is weirdly accurate.... are you a plant?Following today's revelations about the RT stakeholder survey and the staunch support shown by TFF members in replying to the aforementioned, I'm pleased to be able to offer a once in a lifetime, new year's day, special, through the crystal ball view of C&T's office tomorrow morning when they fire up their laptops (it might not be tomorrow morning - they sound like the sort of outfit that might be shut 'til sometime next week )

Not great that anyone would know that this far out from the election“Likely to be”? “Will be” would
Be a more accurate choice of words
If you look at the other thread Tom Bradshaw has replied on Twitter to a farmer saying he was surprised that it was public as this was for main stakeholders - so it would appear yes but not maybe for ordinary farmers
ordinary farmers

It's a genuine stitchup of the RT subscription payers .....the farming industry!!Is this survey genuine?
I have not seen it advertised through other channels (e.g. Red Tractor 'member matters' e-mail), and only 2 days to complete...
@Clive
@Chris F
@Bald Rick
And others...
Appreciate your thoughts.

Just had this message come through
The review that CT are conducting is purely focused on those involved in RT Governance, e.g. sector boards, TACs, AFS board etc. Some surveys are different as some questions are tailored for reps in different parts of the RT structure. There was some demand for a small number of other organisations who don't directly sit on any RT boards, but feel they have experience to share (such as the TFA) and that's the survey that has been circulated on Twitter. Given the CT review is meant to be a short and specific review in to Governance and accountability, their remit isn't to seek a broad input from the entire industry - that is what the second review will do and will clearly take a lot longer to do. I will speak to some colleagues and see if we can get some clarifications out on this process ASAP.
Interesting that they weren't expecting to consult farmers on this.They'll just bin the survey responses
They aren't the glowing praise for RT that was supposed to be obtained from "stakeholders" to support the whitewash
Let us not forget (before he changes the story) that Tom Bradshaw himself said that the survey was only supposed to be completed by RT boards and technical committees
