I’d like to see the French farmers reaction to that if their police tried that stunt!
Look like Conservatives motion with tb and sfs failed just now too???
Wales online said there was 26 buses still on their way at 1pm
Worse than that, 2 Plaid and 2 Conservatives chose no to vote!
Trouble is, most of us do not have any media training and spout off when a microphone is thrust at you.
Instructive when you think about how often you alter or edit a post before pressing reply
That’s potentially nearly 8000 people right there. We were bus number 38 and we only got there at just before 1. Plod handing out the numbers at J33 Services said they had 140 buses booked to attend.
Apparently in order to balance votes they get paired with missing members from opposition party. Above my pay grade but that’s what someone put on FacebookWorse than that, 2 Plaid and 2 Conservatives chose no to vote!

Name and shame

I would have said to the women who thought potatoes were the answerI agree. I think it just goes to show how difficult it is not to say the wrong thing and loose support. I know it’s easy to say in hindsight but she should have asked the anti farming woman how she would have liked it if the government decided to devalue her house by 20%, and give her no compensation.
If its equal votes ie 26 to 26, then the speaker HAS to vote with the party in office . So he had to go with Labour votesSpeaker had casting vote allegedly??
No, apparently the Llywydd goes with the status quo, i.e against the motion, be it a government or opposition proposal. That’s what someone said on Facebook who had been talking to Elin Jones. If its equal votes ie 26 to 26, then the speaker HAS to vote with the party in office . So he had to go with Labour votes
.....I think
If the scheme was devised in the Welsh branch of Defra, it would have been devised with appropriate stakeholders. These would certainly include NFU Cymru, NFFN wales, probably aber Uni, HCC and others.Apparently our dear Ag minister was on Jeremy Vine today (not that I heard it obviously), saying that farmers had been involved in the development of the SFS for 7 years and, as it had been moulded by our responses, she couldn't understand why there was so much angst.
Stakeholders does not mean farmersIf the scheme was devised in the Welsh branch of Defra, it would have been devised with appropriate stakeholders. These would certainly include NFU Cymru, NFFN wales, probably aber Uni, HCC and others.
Therefore the Ag minister will be surprised by the oppostition as she will have been briefed that farmers were in agreement
I know. But you can guarantee that Nfu cymru told them they were representing farmers and the other “stakeholders” would have said the sameStakeholders does not mean farmers
