Welsh Sustainable Farming Scheme AND Protests

The TB problem could soon have been solved.. stop Vets onto farms to do any testing until the badgers are sorted out... All the money lost would soon bring about change...
One old boy near here kept refusing to have a test and they turned up with a court order type document,a mobile handling system and a load of paid staff to handle the stock, with a bill at the end. Test was clear anyway

One is no good... United..we would have complete control.. but that's never happened in Welsh farming.

Whilst the consultation is no longer open, now is the time that the civil servants who actually make the rules are "deciphering" what they've received... If anything, its more important to keep the pressure on from now to the summer, than it was during the consultation period...

If you read about him on Wilkipedia, it has him down as being one of tha MP's who nominated Jeremy Corbyn as Leader of the labour Party. Says it all, in my view.
Best of a bad bunch I called him- which doesn't imply he's any good, but I'd not swap him for any of the others in cabinet, particularly not Gething, Griffiths, Evans, Skates, James, Miles or Hutt... Neagle I've no idea about. Morgan is Elystan Morgan's daughter, and a former MEP, who you would think would have a decent handle on agriculture, but they were never likely to move her from the sh!t show that is the Welsh NHS...

Set me thinking as there is a whole load of nothing up there except a few hill sheep and Carneddau ponies.
It's value is in tourism but it will only attract walkers if it remains accessible. Already its being choked with bracken and overgrown Heather. So surely WG can devise a simple scheme to support upland grazing using the skills of the farmers to graze appropriately rather than the proscription of WG formulated plans.
